Parish nurse Julia Means was at Clinton Rose Senior Middle in Milwaukee when a resident approached her a few neighbor who couldn’t get away from bed.

Means, a nurse with Ascension Wisconsin, went to go to her.

The neighbor, an older girl, hadn’t gotten up for 2 weeks. She couldn’t deal with herself. She was so weak that she left her entrance door open as a result of she couldn’t reply it.

“I don’t know what to do,” the lady’s son instructed Means.

Means persuaded her to go to the hospital. After some exams, the medical doctors instantly knew what was flawed.

The girl had stopped taking her thyroid medicine, a drug that may price pennies a day.

Per week later, Means went to go to the lady on the hospital. She had a smile on her face and was strolling up and down the halls. She instructed Means she couldn’t consider it was all due to not taking a tablet.
